I love designing smart, innovative and inspirational SPECIAL EVENT invitations.
Growing up in the Lehigh Valley, I was encouraged early with many creative painting & drawing courses. In 1988, along with only 20 other extraordinary classmates, I received a B.S. in Visual Communications, with an emphasis in Advertising Design, from the University of Delaware. I then began my career as an Art Director in New York City
where I developed national ad campaigns and had a whole lot of silly fun. After a few years, I returned to Pennsylvania to accept a position as Senior Art Director for Steigler, Wells, Brunswick & Roth where I conceptualized and designed marketing campaigns for national brands including B. Braun Medical and Crayola.
Once I settled down in Bucks County and took several inspiring trips to France, I decided to refine my scope and develop my own style. In 2000, I launched Kim Bensing Design in a tiny cottage nestled on the grounds of my 19th century farm in Bucks County, PA where I happily reside with my husband, 3 children, 3 sweet kittens and many honey bees.
It's here I find my inspiration to brand meaningful moments, while artistically capturing distinct styles for all sorts of special events. I am thrilled to have received several prestigious design AWARDS for my work throughout the years.
